Central Texas Food Bank provides support to food insecure households across Central Texas.
We have worked many shifts at the Central Texas Food Bank and each one is unique! From boxing up just the right weight of frozen pastries to packing meal kits for Hurricane Harvey victims to inspecting and packing fresh veggies, we always work hard (and have fun) while helping to ensure that our neighbors have plenty to eat.
“Hunger affects people from all walks of life. Working families, retired seniors on fixed incomes, grandparents with custody of grandchildren, the chronically ill and the disabled all turn to the Food Bank for help in emergencies or as part of their regular meal planning.”
