Amaanah assists resettled refugee families by working to integrate them into their new homes and communities.
We are so proud of the work we have done with Amaanah. To date, it was our biggest fundraiser and the most directly impactful work we have done. Our volunteers generously helped us raise $3500 (the kids even held a bake/toy/art sale!) and spent an entire Saturday afternoon transforming one families' apartment into a clean and welcoming home, complete with beds for everyone and a tree stocked with Christmas gifts. We have also participated in Amaanah's Rock the Block annual program during which we helped to fill hundreds of bags full of dry goods and cleaning products and delivered them to Amaanah families. Amaanah does really amazing work in our community helping families create a life in their new city and we are happy to be a small part of what they do.
