For Every Child (Hope Totes) provides children in emergency shelters, safe houses, and the foster care system with a tote full of new clothing, socks, underwear, pajamas, and a toiletry bag. A handmade blanket and washcloth is also included in bags designed for younger children.
FEC is running very low on washcloths to include in their Hope Totes, so we are looking for crocheters or knitters to create these much-needed items asap.
We will provide the yarn (donated to For Every Child) at all 3 of our locations or you can use materials you have at home. You will be asked during signup to indicate from which location you will be picking up and dropping off items. Instructions will be included in an email.
